Splice & Seal
The system was designed to reduce overall cost and to be used on filled or air core PIC cable, either direct buried, aerial or underground. Pulp/Paper Cable insulated cable sheath can only be mechanically proven closure, tested and installed by major telecoms for two decades.
All applications of Splice & Seal are basically the same. Typical applications include General Sheath Repair, Pressurized or Non-Pressurized. Forced Encapsulated Splices, Sheath Pullouts, Auxiliary Wraps, Insulated Joints, Sheath Dams and Service Wire Splices.
Forced Encapsulated Splice
This system has proven itself over many years of success in major Telco’s. Splice & Seal™ was designed to reduce overall cost and incorporate labor saving methods and materials. It can be used on Filled or Air Core Pic Cable, either Direct Buried, Aerial or Underground in various splice configurations.
Sheath Repair Pressurized
The TPI Repair method can be used on PIC, Paper or Pulp Insulated Air Core cables, and Lead or Poly Sheaths (Stalpeth, PASP, ASP Alpeth). Repairs can be completed on any size cable where the actual sheath damage does not exceed 16 inches in length. Damage in excess of 16 inches will require additional kits.
Pedestal Sealing Kit
A new and Economical method to seal wire work in above ground pedestal closures including the “Cool Peds.” Ped-Seal can be used on new construction or on existing rehab situations in most “butt-splice” configurations. Can be used on any PIC Cable, filled or air core, up to 600pr considering the variable involving connector type and splice diameter (max 5”.) Provides protection from UV, insects, rodents and moisture/water intrusion.
